Free dinner

We were out of state the other night and needed to grab some dinner. We had a gift card from my parents to Cracker Barrel, so we headed out to cash it in. Life on the road gets expensive. We try to pack food and eat light. We were hoping we could use the Cracker Barrel gift card and spend $10 of our own money after the tip. We pray all the time that God will supply our needs. We sometimes expect it to all come at once. Instead, He is moving in people's hearts along our path and using them to meet our needs.

The hostess seated us at the round table in the corner. We had plenty of room and were in our own little world. The kids were playing with that peg game and Josh was putting everything in his mouth (that's his favorite thing to do these days).

Shortly after we ordered, a random lady walked up and put $20 on the table and told us she thought we had a beautiful family. She said she had enjoyed watching us and wanted to give us something.

What a blessing! The Lord is so good to us!
